Focusing on eye-tracking and virtual reality, this career path led him to collaborate closely with the founders of the Unity game engine and the Danish eye-tracking startup, The Eye Tribe (later acquired by Facebook's VR division, Oculus). His work also involved securing patents in extended reality (XR) and eye-tracking technologies.

Alongside his work at Volvo Cars and The Point Labs, he serves on boards for startups and organizations like SXSW and the EU Commission. Timmy also partners with Unity and Varjo.
